Frustration

I guess it is part of the learning curve but I have become frustrated with sewing for the last couple of days. I was working on a skirt for my niece and put the yoke on upside down. I don't mind ripping out, but the problem was that I didn't discover this until after fighting with the zipper and then trying to put the yoke facing on. I literally threw the skirt up in the air and had to put it now where I can't see it. Right now I am not a fan of McCall's M5175, although it probably isn't their fault.

Luckily I had a little bit better luck with a cow dress I am working on. Simplicity 4265 is going very well. I cut it out, sewed the bodice and the skirt and have even connected them without ruining it so far. I hesitate in putting the zipper in, right now I just want to enjoy the fact that I haven't messed it up...yet.
